Growing up in a family with a love of music, notably hip hop and RnB and surrounded by CDs, it was bound to rub off on him. When he wasn't playing football he was using the recording program, Mixed Craft, on his laptop in order to upload music onto his MySpace page. RMP grew up in Croydon, South London, but has also lived in Milwaukee Wisconsin and Chicago; his mother being an extensive traveler. Musical influences range from OutKast and Tupac, Mary J Blige to Dizzee Rascal, So Solid Crew and Soul II Soul.
RMP lives and breathes music and was thrilled to win the Unsigned Stars competition in 2014. He is constantly working on new tracks and videos; writing notes whenever he feels inspired.
