As a child, RD Girard's home was the house used for the weekly family music jam. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc. would come with their guitars, banjos, fiddles, accordions and voices to play country music. That’s where he learned and fell in love with music. The music that springs from RD's soul today was born in those days. When he thanks God for his blessings … that’s a big one. While he had a few original music bands over the years … ("Rip Tide", "The Type”, “Itchy Brother", “4’n Country”) these days he mainly performs solo acoustically as a songwriter/performer … and write a lot of songs … and does his best to promote those songs.
