THE LIGHT THAT SHINES WITHIN: I want to dedicate this song to all who want more out of their life and eliminate, or at least subdue, their day to day drudgery. The idea is to “Turn Your Light ON” every day for everyone to see that you are in tune you with the energies of the Universe. Strive to see The Big Picture and be part of The Big Picture! We all have a special inner light and it depends on how bright we choose to shine that light at any given moment. Our lights and "our energy" all emanate from the same deep spiritual place and some people instinctively know what that special energy is. I am so grateful that I have come to understand this special energy after years of songwriting and performing. Where does it come from? Does it come from the Cosmos? Is it generated by our own powerful inner thoughts, actions or belief systems? Maybe it’s a combination of all of these uniquely human elements. Who really knows? We just “know” when it’s there and tap into that special energy when we can. Right? Look around you, most of us stand grounded, standing at the station, a station that I like to call "Platform Earth”. Our Good Earth can be a launching pad for enlightened souls who will one day drift up into the ether to join so many other talented souls at the "Sky Lounge (get your shit together) Rehearsal Room". We were born to be be different, that’s why out fingerprints don’t match. Unique is the operative word here and the "unorthodox" is always going to break through, stand out in a crowd and override the ordinary every time.
