The song YOU LORD was actually the first song The Lord Gave me, it was written in 1976 while I was in Attica Prison. I knew then as I do now That JESUS CHRIST Was my Messiah. My heart was filled with Praise, and I wanted to Thank JESUS with a song, and this is the one He Gave me. I know today that no matter what I am going through, It Is YOU LORD. JESUS YOU ARE with me. (Hebrew 13:5-6). JESUS YOU ARE my Strength. (Philippians 4:13). JESUS YOU Supply All my Needs. (Philippians 4:19). JESUS YOU Promised To Be With me till the end. (Matthew 28:20).
