your songHello there Outfall, thank you so much for sending me the song for review! Wow, what a pretty song, those singing melodies from the start on are very, very ear catchy and that is exactly what I like the most when I listen to songs. This song sounds to me a hit, beautifully composed and mixed too, the guitars, the drums, bass, etc, very well balanced and I could hear to every detail inside the song, lovely song, keep that work up man, many greetings from Germany, Alfredo from King Mambo
OutFall EchosSo good easy listening nice acoustic guitar work and percussion and a great use of volume pedal creating a guitar synth sound or is it a synth nice sound though. I would say put this song on your faith music play list its good and feels better the more you listen to it great recording, love the introduction musically and its good to hear the story unfold as pictures are painted in the mind as we echo through eternity. great job Outfall .... press play its good
Echoes remaster; ReviewedThis sounds like a really good song with a great composition and instrumentation including the arrangement. The songs displays the musicianship of the performing band members. I thought that the lead vocals were phasing but as I listened through the song I realised that maybe an effect was reverberating with the backing vocals. Nice use of effects. I also did like the guitar solo at the very end of the track that sounded very high energy. This isn't an uptempo song at all, more likeen a ballad type of vibes but this incorporates the full band . Great audio production.
Outfall Here is my review!I feel your music is well worth listening to and should be heard all over the world and it is well created the music is nice I like the vocals over all you fellows are very talented and I look forward to hearing other great tunes from your group I hope what I have said will be of some use to you in your band from J.Milligan President/CEO,New Experience/Rick Ross Music Group/UMG.
Thoughts on Echos remaster...My first thoughts were, "this song is different!" - in a good way. I like the story lyrics about real people. That makes this song very special. I like the sound of the lead in instrument? This song is wonderful! Not too much to criticize... I like the short interludes between verses, and the chorus lines are perfect for the song. I think this song is unique and inspiring. The only suggestion I have is the whispering at the end should be a lil louder. Great song guys! Michael D'Aigle/fool4christ
Interesting SoundI like to use a critique format that was used at the Christian Musicians Summit, where Paul Baloche critiqued one of my songs (yes, the song needed a lot of work!). I much prefer to have the lyrics while I review, but here goes: 1. Does any of the text raise a red flag with regard to Christian Theology? I do not see any problems, although it seems to be more geared toward CCM. 2. Does this sound like another song? Is the lyrical content fresh? The song seems pretty unique to me. 3. Does it speak to the hearts of people? Can people relate to the lyrics? Yes, I think the descriptions in your verses are of everyday life people can relate to. 4. Can your average Joe/Jo sing this song? Not a worship song, so this one probably does not matter. 5. Does the song structure make sense (lyric form, chord progression, verse-chorus arrangement)? I think you have a V-C-V-C-V-C structure - pretty standard, so good. 6. What feels good about the song? The guitar particularly caught my attention, especially at the beginning. Almost Phil Keaggy-ish. Nice vocal harmony as well. 7. What feels "funny" (not ha-ha) about the song? - The verses seemed a bit long - Might be a little dated in the overall feel to the song All in all, I would say a good effort!
A Gentle Reminder For Us All"Echoes" brings me back to a simpler, gentler time in the Christian music business. A nice reminder in the lyrics of eternity and God's love. The instrumentation never gets in the way of the singer. The guitar tones are soothing to the ear, sparse drums is perfect for the arrangement. Nice easy listening... which is a break from what else is coming at us these days. Good job.
YoungThe song Started a big difference Extended Stay. It's in the Boca started and it was cohesive the lyrics made perfect sense and the male vocalist had a soft tongue pretty good song when you think about it
Rockin for the LordI dig the tone and mix sweet... great vocals Smooth with control ...would like to hear more good message . killer Volume pedal work ... Keep writing for the Lord and bring his word through your music
RemastersNow that’s what I thought an interesting introduction should sound like, no messing about straight in with an invitation to be a listener. Sit back relax and lean back and take in our story. Just enough fx without distorting either the vocal or the instrumentation. The orchestration is lovely and sympathetically tailored your the message of the song story. Lovely lingering outro right at the end with a fabulous high end guitar meandering solo to the fade. I really really loved it fellas, keep them coming. Artey
Let's get constructive!!So my question is what are you trying to do with it? Play out? Get published? Get a record deal? If I critique your song is from what I've learned pitching songs in nashville. I have yet to sell a tune but I'm not going to stop trying so this is just my opinion. I hope it helps. First the good. I really like the tune. It engaged me. I was enjoying the melody and was curious as to where it was going. I think it has real potential. Now for the constructive criticism. You lead vocals are way over processed. You have a great voice why clutter it up? I thought the background harmony was nice. Also I think it may be too long. Your pushing it with 3 verses. It gets a little monotonous. I can't hear what your whispering at the end which in my opinion takes too long to fade out. I suggest that you replace v3 with a bridge to tie the first 2 verse together. Then the chorus again followed by the the solo. Shouldn't be longer than 3.00 - 3.30. Once again just my opinion.
Echoes Getting BetterI really had a hard time evaluating this song. It's well done and I'm sure the remastering effort was worth it. The story is well told and not every song needs a bridge, bit I think this one does, or a wonderful instrumental that brings a selah moment. The repetition gets to me I think. The intro was Keaggy-esque and set me up to expect more perhaps. This is a good song but not a great song. It could have been. Keep at it and be encouraged. It's close.
Outfall - EchosSad storyline but well performed throughout the song. Vocally and instrumentally sound. At times I struggled to pick up some of the lyrics but that could well be down to me getting old. Quite enjoyable.
Needs work. Please don't take this wrong. it's a very good song and the music is very good too. I just can't hardly hear it without cranking up the stereo. When I did crank it up I noticed the vocal level was good for the level of the recording, but there is a few parts where the harmony parts are that need leveled out a bit more and although the auto tune works really well for part of this, I just feel there are just a few places it could be dialed down a bit. you guys really do have a great song, and I do understand the recording process can be a real pain in the A sometimes, but please consider remixing this one. it has a great message to it, and it also is a great tune. I would love to hear this with a better mix. it's real close to being perfect. or near perfect. I love the sound you guys are going for, but it is very quiet, and like I said needs a better mix. I really hope you take the time to compare it with others on here so you can see just how quiet it is compared to other MP3 on here. Peace and God bless. Joe Garrison
Echos remasterNice genre and I love the beat, your sound so good. It's a sad song. It encourages us to love each other more unconditionally. Thank you for making such music and really admire your passion
