Lyrics have now been added to Revive. If you're like me and love to read the lyrics while listening to a new song, enjoy! When I started writing Revive I was in a funk due to this whole lockdown. I was getting agitated and feeling intense cabin fever. Then I decided to utilize my gift of singing and songwriting and get back to producing. Being a music production student gave me the tools I didn't have a few months ago to make my own music happen with confidence right at home and not have to spend money. God's timing is amazing because financially studio time was adding up. I started to recognize that I was being led to become my best self throughout this quarantine and to step into my purpose and full capability. The reports about those who are losing their lives to this virus was really bumming me out so I decided to use the power I have and put my feelings into song. I started to recognize that this is my time; my time is now to wake up to my purpose and take my feelings and anxiety about what's going on in the world into a song. It was such a necessary way to release my fear and by doing so through music I felt like I was able to encourage the world to step into their purpose and don't come out of this downtime the same. Wake up to who you truly are. The time is now. We all expire. So sad but true. So leave your legacy and enjoy the journey while it lasts. It's time for lies to be shattered, truth to conquer and traditions to be challenged. It starts at surface level but there is a deeper message beyond it all. What does Revive mean to you?
