Hi all, so Slapback just went back into the studio and soon will be releasing a 6 song EP. The name of the EP is: "Places in Time". We have just finished the basic tracks and will be finishing up in the next few weeks. Cannot wait for you to here it. We will release one song on here for free and the others will be on CD Baby and all the sites that come with that. We will let you know exactly once it is out. We hope this email finds you all well and prosperous!! Slapback is feeling prosperous right now. It's so wonderful to be able to tell you that we have finally finished the new recording. A couple of the songs you might have heard before and some you have heard differently as we re-worked some of the songs and then some new songs. Yippee!! They will be up on this site by this coming weekend and are only song clips but we might upload one full song. We also have a brand new website and would love for you to check it out. We also have songs available for purchase from cdbaby and will be uploaded to other sites such as Itunes and so on. We also have a local cable show coming up on July 18th at 7:00pm so look at the gig section. I have missed talking to all of you and hope you enjoy the new music and website. Hello everyone!! Slapback wants to wish you and yours a wonderful and happy Holiday season. May you be as blessed as us and enjoy friends and family. Please stay safe!!

Slapback has changed it's drummer and guitarist. The others wanted to do more covers than originals and that was not acceptable to Steve and Michele, who started this project. We will do some covers for shows but mainly will concentrate on originals as that is where we are creative and enjoy playing the most. We are now recording some new songs and remaking some others that you have already heard. Please come back and check them out. We will let you know when it's done and would appreciate your opinions. We have also added keyboards that Michele is playing and although not in every song, it has added another dimension to the band. Can't wait for you all to hear it. Thanks to all of you for your support, we really appreciate it. It's one of the biggest reasons we keep on going because we know we are doing it for people that appreciate it.

Wanted to reach out and say "HI" from Slapback. Wanted to let you all know we are working on some songs to go back into the studio and will keep you apprised on how it's going. We have been gigging more and writing songs. We are working on having a keyboard part in some of the songs so keep your ears open. Working hard on building up our following locally so we can move onto surrounding states. We hope to see you out there and remember, if you come to a gig make sure you come up and say "Hi". The last one was a great recording but was done live, so no overdubs or extra vocals or instruments. We will be going all out on the next record. So keep your eyes and ears open. Hello everyone, Sorry we haven't been in contact as of late. We had some issues with the site but have now straightened it out. We have some news for you. We have lost one guitar player and gained another. Our original guitar player could not do this anymore so we had to move on. We have however, found someone who we think fits even better and has the time, enthusiasm and chops to bring us where we need to go. Thank you all for taking this journey with us. We really appreciate all of you. Keep checking for gigs and hopefully we will see you out there.
