About Structural Mind Engine

Structural Mind Engine is Maxime Tremblay from Canada. He started youngly by playing the piano, for ''fun' when he was young, and at the age of 9, he started compose some music with a ''Yamaha PSR 500'' keyboard, while he played all the beats, melodies & sounds on the tracks. He is autodidact on the guitar since the age of 12. At the same age, he composed some freestyle electronic pieces with a ''486 Dx2 66''' pc, while he also played all the sounds with a midi keyboard. At the age of 19, SME was born from some experimentations on an athlon 1.2 MHZ he had at this time, and some beatbox like the Roland MC-303, the Yamaha RM1X, and the Novation Bass Station. In 2004, he begun to put more classical influences in his music. that is principally psytrance, in many forms like the Goa, the Full On, The morning Full on, the melodic psytrance, the abient downtempo psy, even the progressive in another project (Rising Light) & more. Now he is aged of 42 & he use Cubase 8 to compose the music. Stay tune for this artist, that will continue to compose his psy music! ;)
