Mudflap Junior Jones

I had to buy 5 of my own songs online lol no one has hard copies anymore.. one of which is this studio recording of Yeah Four Times, recorded by Bob Beal and featuring him on lead guitar! I remember my drummer Ryan Taylor and I were on our way to the studio to finish up our first album Push.. we called Bob to tell him we were on our way and he said he was doing the guitar solo - knowing Bob it was probably one take LOL
We've been getting more followers and subscribers, and messages too. Thank you so much for listening and sharing! This song Yeah Four Times is actually my first real song I recorded in Freiburg, Germany in 1994. My dorm neighbor let me use his musical equipment to get a 4-track recording done, and they played it one night at Stüsi Bar (it was noisy probably no one heard it lol), but here we are 30yrs later! New music!!

As if awakening from some extended hibernation, Mudflap Junior Jones has had 2 rehearsals in the past 6 weeks, and another planned soon in sunny New Hampshire!
It's been good just to get out, but actually got some stuff done, too! I'm really psyched, I even did a couple socially distancing openmics hosted outside in ever-friendly Methuen, Massachusetts.
I'm hoping we'll have a recording of Tito Lee soon, an instrumental Niko and I used to play that Ryan is recording drums for ... which should also be interesting because we always track live when we record.
AND thanks to stimulus I've now got everything I need to record at home ... it won't be anywhere near studio quality, but I'll be able to document ideas, which is key! ... not to mention trading tracks online, and all sorts of et ceteras.
I hope you all are well ... it's always great to get your messages, I'm pretty sure I got back to them all but if I missed you, message me back!

My band Mudflap Junior Jones has been on paternity leave since November, but we have some things in the works ... Ryan Taylor (the new Dad) has a new house, and we're planning on shaking the windows soon! We also recorded the Magnum PI theme for fun, but still have some work to do on that ... other than that not much to report, I've just been doing some openmics locally ... thank you for your support, until next time!

Hello and thank you for all for your support! Just wanted to reach out and say how thankful I am for N1M and such awesome fans! Mudflap Junior Jones is currently on paternity leave, since Ryan wanted to have a daughter, too! Haha ... also family and finances have been the focus for a while, haven't been able to set up iTunes, etc. but it's still a goal! I just turned 45, technologically I'm still living in the 80's! I wish you all the best in the New Year, and hopefully 2020 will see a Mudflap resurgence! Happy Merry! See you next year!

Not much going on, psyched to be getting a lot of plays ... haven't been playing much, but still networking and getting out to openmics ... Mudflap Junior Jones is always a thing, but Ryan the drummer is expecting his first child, and might be a while before we're back in the studio ... so not much to report, any news and I'll surely let you know!
