Pianist-Composer, Marc Matthys, born in Ghent in 1956, was attracted to music from a very early age. He made his first steps on the international music scene in 1964 when he won an European title at the Accordion Competition of the “Communauté Européenne de l’Accordéon” in Paris.

BREAKING - New Project coming Soon! ~~ Save the date April 19, 2021 ~~ At the initiative of life-long friend composer-conductor Dirk Brossé, Marc is working on a new cross-over project. Family and friends will join the stage to perform Marc's music with chamber orchestra and his trio. The concert will be recorded live and streamed on YouTube and FaceBook.
