You Rock!

This is a very moving piece. the guitar solo is like listening to a world class vocalist at times. Yes, this guitar player speaks to me with clarity and wit. The overall passion of this piece leaves one wondering "where do we go from here?". Well, the answer is that it doesn't get much better than this. You Rock!

Prologo

As I listened to this tune, I was reminded of Frank Gambale from Chick Corea's Elektric Band. There is some technically amazing guitar work here - great chops! I wasn't sure about the break between sections, but overall I liked the tune.

Prologo Magnifico!

I dont know how to rate your songs except with stars! This song has such power to it going from Acoustic to electric like that. The only thing I could say would be the pauses might be a bit too long. Maybe have something else going on while the pause takes place. Even just a chord or something else. What a wonderful piece. I cant believe I havent heard of you before. You are my new favorite artist!

Different But Very Good

You can tell a lot of thought went into this tune. The performance of all parts are very good. The only negative I can come up is that the overdriven guitars are somewhat raspy sounding by today's standards. I'd be curious as to how they were recorded. Overall, a VERY good effort.

Great song

This is really one of the best Prog songs i've heard in ages. Although it's close to sounding too over-produced and corny. I love the effects you have on the guitar. I like the acoustic parts in the intro. I'm very interested to hear more from you. Great work keep it up!

"Prologo" by Leo Badinella

Leo Badinella and I have shared the daily top 5 in the instrumental genre for a good while now, so as a fellow fan and player of instrumental rock music, I'm automatically inclined to thinking his music rocks. Leo shows strong influences by Joe Satriani and maybe even John Petrucci. The lead guitar seems to stand out too much in the mix and overwhelms everything else at times...maybe cut back the level on the lead guitar a bit? As to the guitar playing itself, Leo shows very honed guitar playing skills. He has a strong sense of musicality and he knows his theory, and how to apply guitar techniques to what he wants in his song. While the electric guitar playing was very reminiscent of the aforementioned guitarists, I especially liked the little acoustic runs thrown in the song. I think they provided the influence of Chile in Leo's music. All in all, a very well-made instrumental rock song! Kudos to my fellow instrumental guitarist.

It's more than a Prolog...

Expecting a "Prolog" it came out as a prolongated musical prolog for a two our concert. It starts with a fine intro and climbs to the mountain of acrobatic skills of guitar play with well composed "high speed" melody and variations. It's a convincing demonstration of the guitar players high developed skills. Embeded recovery moments would increase the musical impact...

Great guitar-work. The production could be better - especialy the drums are to much in the back - or the guitars are to loud in the mix(?).
