NFM (Nebraska Furniture Mart) posted their 10 finalists for their Anthem contest (https://www.nfm.com/anthem ), and I wasn't chosen. [My entry: https://soundcloud.com/leehalvorsen/make-this-house-our-home .] Obviously, each contestant thinks his/hers is the best, so I am not fully objective. All of the chosen finalists did have a more professional recorded sound and most were designed to promote an emotion. I think mine had more variety, but maybe that was part of what they didn't like...maybe it was "too much" stuff packed into one song. Well, just being posted, my song got a few likes, so it still has merit. Just wish NFM had thought it had had enough merit to have included it among their finalists.
