Brian Borgh - Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals
GuitaristBrian joined the band in 2022 on lead and rhythm guitar when Paul McKinney stepped down from a full-time position as guitarist. Brian jumped in with great enthusiasm and took it upon himself to learn the entire Invaders catalog! He comes from long background as a rock bassist and is enjoying the new challenge of the new ska style of playing on guitar!
Dean Schwaller - Rhythm Guitar, Backing Vocals
GuitaristDean co-founded the band with Max back in 1987 and co-wrote many of the early songs. He stepped out in 1993 to concentrate on family but made guest appearances throughout the years. Max and the band are excited that Dean is back in the band full-time for 2024 and beyond!
Rick "Rickdiculous" Wetzel - Saxophone, Backing Vocals
Background Vocalist SaxophonistRick has been playing saxophone since high school and has performed in many bands over the years. His Ska background comes from the 2000's ska band "Reaching Skarlett." Rick joined the band in 2012 and bring his experience and skill to the great Invaders horn lines and solos.
Andy Horzewski - Bassist
BassistAndy performed with Max before joining the Invaders when he played saxiphone for the band, "Seven-O-Seven." Answering a call for a bassisit in 2014 Andy was welcomed with open arms and has prooven to be a killer bassist and a valuable addition to the band holding down solid bass rhythms so essential in the ska and reggae styles!
Jeff "JC" Carpenter - Drums, Backing Vocals
Background Vocalist DrummerJeff joined the band in 2009 making him the 4th longest performing member of the group. He has played drums since high school and performed in notable Milwaukee ska bands from the late 1980's and 90's including "International Jet Set" and "High Ball Holiday." He brings his experience and unique ska playing style to the band.
Beth Wisniewski - Violin, Backing Vocals
Background Vocalist Tambourine Player ViolinistJoined the Invaders family in 1994 as the band's merchandise girl. Married the band's founder, Max in 1997. Joined as a performer, playing electric violin in Max's side projects "Seven-O-Seven" and "the Fallout" in the early 2000's. Remained as violinist for the current band line-up from 2005 through today.
Max Wisniewski - Lead Vocals, Harmonica, Percussion
Booking Agent Composer Harmonicist Timbales Player VocalistFounding member of the band in 1987. Wrote the majority of the band's original songs and is the graphic artist for the band. Started out as the band's drummer and progressed to front-man and lead singer in 1992. The band began to exclusively perform ska and reggae in 1991. Also formed the Ska bands "Seven-O-Seven" and "the Fallout" in the early 2000's when "the Invaders" were on hiatus. Regrouped the Invaders in 2005 and have since been known since as "Max & the Invaders."
