About Juyray

Born September 16,1975 in New Orleans, LA, it was clear from the start that Juyray had music in his veins. He taught himself to play guitar at the tender age of 8. Juyray easily integrated all forms of music into his daily life. He has often stated, “I will hear something in a song and it will transport me to an earlier place in time”.<br />
There is no one artist that has influenced this musical genius whose musical taste can best be described as a “musical melting pot”. When I asked him who his favorite artists are, he granted me entrance into his musical archives. I was beyond amazed at the differences, he has everything from Aerosmith to Eazy E. His tastes include Rock, Heavy Metal, Pop, R&B, House Music and Rap. I was surprised to find Amel Larrieux and Les Nubians filed amongst Megadeth and Deicide. What I found most intriguing was after hearing the first few bars of a song, he can tell you who the artist is, the name of the song and the year it was released. There are truly no limits to this musical genius
