New Recording and Gig Projects
Hi everyone - well I have reached the magical TWENTY MILLION number of fans and friends across the Globe who are contributing to this wonderful resurgence of my music for which I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I have been in the wonderful profession of music and entertainment for over six decades now, during which time I have travelled to many wonderful places in this world of ours and met so many amazing people of all races. For several years after the sad demise of the guitarist Johnny Ramone from the Ramones band, because they were using my Equity registered professional name of Johnny Ramone (May 1968 - many years prior to the formation of the American Ramones) I was finding it almost impossible to assure people that I was still very much alive, and it did damage my popularity somewhat when some cruel people accused me of 'stealing' the name Johnny Ramone. However the world gradually came to realise the truth and I find myself now in the wonderful position of finding my music is so popular with so many people.
As Malvolio rightly said in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night 'If music be the food of love - play on'. In these terrible times of the killer virus, music plays a part in keeping us all looking to the future and focussing on bringing back the good times once again!
