Thoughts about You're Really OK
First, let me say that this song's raw simplicity with the acoustic guitar and lead vocals is most excellent. It easy to follow the voice with that bare bones format. The words - "you say you want to be famous someday - you're not really sure who you are." are very powerful and lay down the red carpet for the song's message; God made no junk! Love it As the song moves along the strings add a somber and serious mood to the message - the dynamics are very good on this song, and the melody and arrangement are superb. This song is one you need to hear more than once to really take in - it's has a lot of meaning. This song definitely will minister deeply to people who are broken and feeling down on themselves... a song that can heal a broken soul - priceless! The overall mix is a little rough, but the song is so enchanting and the words so powerful that it is a small point... The harmonies are nice and the little guitar licks and short guitar solo is very lovely. It works with the strings - weaving back and forth - very nice on the ears. This song is beautiful and it is destined to touch many hearts. Not much to add, it's an excellent and well c rafted song. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful song - I pray it mends many broken hearts who do not realize that God thinks all of us are okay - good enough to send His son to die for. The music is nice, and I like it. I think it does have that down to earth vibe to it. I like this one a lot, and you're on your way to getting an award somewhere . You're Really OK is just OK
JLT Records' recording of "You're Really OK (Jael)" is a simple singer-songwriter tune, delivered mostly with vocal and rhythm guitar. Cello is added a little further in, adding a sad, yearning mood. Violins added still later make it bittersweet. The lead guitar in the break is excellent. This format puts all the emphasis squarely on the words, and the songwriter's craft is crucial. And this is where the song falls short. The songwriter has something to say. It's a message of love to someone searching to find what they really want in life, and mostly off on the wrong track. But the lyrics are crafted poorly, and there are awkward phrases with the emPHASis on the wrong sylLABle, that recur multiple times. For example, "God made no junk, though you feel this way", and "You never did DIScover how." I have certainly heard much worse on N1M. The writer has something to say. I want to encourage him to keep writing, and keep honing his craft, and let the words dictate the timing and melody of the song, rather than forcing the words to fit a preconceived rhythm. This is my first listen to JLT Records and I must say that they produce some really good songs. Their lyrics are really heart felt seem to come from having a strong relationship with God. The lyrics covey a message that is pertinent for today and their music complements their words. I recommend listening to them and be blessed by their sound.

An anointed message for all who listen. Instrumentals are wonderfully crafted. I found the words plucked my heartstrings and especially bring courage and light. The violin is really anointed to bring us in to that place in our hearts where we consider our ways and turn to the light of Lights. It is a great song and I love the lyrics. I am praying for courage and this song gives me courage. The backup singing is just right and the volume is also spot on of the vocals to match with the music. I hope many will be divinely guided to reach for this song at this time which is critical, for even now Jesus says, "I AM at The Door!" You're Really OK review. this is a strictly Rock piece in the highest sense of the word. everything sounds in Rock style as I said everything recalls the Rock genre. personally it is not my favorite genre but I can give you a musical judgment that is certainly positive because all that there must be in a Rock piece in your piece is therefore complimented and continues. good job

Kind of a John Lennon melody ,laid back,words need a little spicing up,but nice ,good message,and point gets across,is that cello. Song kind of wanders around,needs a stronger delivery and overview.nice Spanish guitar.everything that has breath praise the lord ,nice harmonies. Could use some dynamics,and more arrangement of structure of the chorus,bridge,verse and arrangement .
