Been making music since I was 13...I write my own and record in my home studio. I play guitar primarily, but also play piano, drums and bass. I record with: a pre-lawsuit Takamine 12-string; a 1985 Tanera 6-string, a 1980 Yamaha 6-string classical and a 1981 American 6-string Fender Strat. I use crate and mesa-boogie amps. I tend to use the lightest gauge strings possible.

I'm new to this site, I have been on Reverbnation.com (search "James Davison") for a while now and this site was recommended to me by another artist. I tend to write blues and Indie music, with a tilt towards a harder edge with a message, and love to write story songs. Thanks for listening, I look forward to your comments/thoughts...JAD
