About Hope 4 Da Hood

Beni Santibanez artist formerly known as Sir Scrappy from Arapnaphobia Records known for making chicano gangster rap music with a west coast/midwest feel was called to serve God with his music on June 5th, 2009. Santibanez was a known gang member who's label mates were on kansas most wanted while they produced "venom for the streets", "caught up in the web, the antidote among other albums was called shortly after releasing the antidote. Santibanez also featured on songs with artists from Hata Proof & Coast from Dopehouse Records. Despite the success in the secular field Santibanez' home life was falling apart from the lifestyle that he was living. Santibanez broke his hands 3 times in 3 years fighting and was avoiding police due outstanding warrants; Santibanez couldn't "break free" from the lifestyle. He was called to ministry in 1997 when God used direct revelation to stop him from shooting a rival gang member, however this is a call that Santibanez ran from.
