HGR (Heavy Guitar Rock) RECORDS was created over 5 years ago in Utah to boost unsigned bands, especially west of the Rockies and in Utah in particular. HGRR has given away 1,000's of free compilation cd's, booked over 50 amazing Utah shows between 2008-2012, and is now growing a radio network. Owner Scott Wilcox also made a concert DVD and is scoring a major Metal film. Stay tuned and help put Utah on the heavy music map! (expired link)

HGR (Heavy Guitar Rock) RECORDS has offered free promotion to heavy,unsigned bands since 2009. Based in Utah, focus has mostly been west of the Rockies. Promotions have included free mastering of tracks, with 1,000’s of free cd’s given locally, as well as a monthly “Utah Band of the Month” radio-podcast feature with owner, DJ Scott ((expired link)). He plays guitar & bass on several of the tracks here. He’s also directed two shorts and is shopping a sci-fifantasy script with original, 20-song soundtrack ((expired link)).
