The duo, composed of Hella Emmanuel and Aluga Fred, is known for the aggressive delivery typically employed by both (expired link) they maintain a strong underground following, they are mainly known for the song "Kudunda," released on 2008,and for which they have had mainstream success. The group has frequently collaborated with Dj Klash who normally produces under the Fundi firm lable, and has produced a significant amount of tracks on all (expired link) releases since 2009 Shocks, as well as work for other artists including Caro,Blavion,shanice and Ibra. Herkym (Hella Emmanuel) and Od joe (Fred Aluga) grew up together in the neighborhood of Kariobangi and formed a group called (expired link). With a desire to express themselves through rap, they formed a hip-hop group named after their gang. Originally, Od joe was the Dj of the group. With encouragement from his older brother, Od joe began to write his own rhymes. After contributing to the 2008 compilation "Shocks", (expired link) debuted in 2009 with the single "Nyumbani",which appeared on the sound track for the Documentary Two faces of kenya The underground success of the single, promoted by a low-budget video from the known director Nick styles In 2010, (expired link). released their second effort,Madem kibao Hoping for better (expired link) group still kept their energetic style, and gained a slightly larger following this time round. In 2010 (expired link). released "Makinka", which was soon followed by the album (expired link) with the same formula, again with a heavy percentage of the record produced by DJ Klash the album featured guest appearances by Jah nile,Anto neosoul,Mfuasi of washukiwa,Alaholla,checkmate mido,Jemedari among others.
