Well, I have bought a book on mixing to get me motivated to really hit the (literally in the garage - well a room behind the garage) garage studio and redo all my songs. At present, I'm getting together some extra helpful bits and pieces like more versatile mic stands, pop filters etc. I should have at least a song or two done before end of the year :)

I have built a sound proofed room for recording in the back of my garage and will start doing a (hopefully) better job of recording songs to set them up again on N1M. The current ones are "live" recordings in an ordinary room. I'll try laying track at a time and mixing & mastering. I'm reading up and practising at the moment so hopefully I can start putting some up later this year.
Looking forward to other new songs from all of you too. We have New Zealand Music Month coming up: May. Lots of live and original music happens in all sorts of ways. All the best music to you all

Music continues. I have my home studio set up and practised on a friend, so ready now to redo all my songs in a studio setting.
I hope to hear new tunes from others, I'll be looking out for them

A great time for music. It should be good times to come as I am due to write another one given it has been a while now.
