How about that! GALLEON has a concert coming up, and it's only a week away. We're performing on Saturday night, April 2, at Kavarna, Decatur's popular neighborhood coffeehouse and musical hot-spot. We thank the management of Kavarna for giving us a chance to prove ourselves, and we promise to make our show there a most memorable and exciting one.

Opening for us at 9:00 p.m. will be our good friend "Ballad Brian" Frey, an excellent folk singer/songwriter with a surprisingly keen balance between the idealistic perception of the 1960s and the harsh reality of today. Also on the bill at 10:00 p.m. will be another good friend of ours, the lovely and talented Anne-Marie Perry, who will perform a powerful set of great rock and pop. And finally at 11:00 p.m., GALLEON will take the stage with our unique brand of rock, folk-rock, and modern country, playing music so hot it's really cool ... and that's hot!

Now I am very much aware that on April 2 there are many other excellent events happening in and around Atlanta involving many other excellent musicians, most of whom are friends of ours. With all respect to these friends, musicians, and events, and at the risk of seeming selfish and rude, I hope you all attend OUR CONCERT! You see, GALLEON doesn't often get an opportunity to play out live, although I hope to rectify that situation this year. This event is an excellent opportunity for us to play out, and it's also an excellent opportunity for you to come on out and sample the GALLEON experience once and for all. Come see us, listen to us play our music live, and judge for yourself that you may be the better judge. I think you'll like our music and the way I sing it, but don't take my word for it; rather, come on out on April 2 and listen to us for yourself.

As stated above, it's only a $5.00 cover at the door, and ALL AGES ARE WELCOME! So we hope to see all of you on April 2 for what promises to be a fun night of great local music!
