Nutcracker RevisitedI enjoyed listening to this piece of music. It kind of sounds like it should be part of the Nutcracker Suite! I think it would be great to hear this performed on a real xylophone, if that is even possible! I noticed some rather fast passages here and there that might be difficult to pull off live. One thing I noticed, and this is not criticism to the composer, is that this being a solo instrument, it makes it difficult to build any dynamics and keep the interest peaked throughout the performance. Other than that, I liked this very much.
ErikWhy on earth would I wonder whether or not Rrik would continue in his mesmerising musical mastery to provide us all with an introduction of sheer brilliance. And confounding is all with a masterclass of how you show genuine genius on one solo instrument and to my audience it only sounded like a solo instrumental piece. I have to utter a wow of exasperation to the sheer beauty that has been transmitted here in this track of mesmerising musical brilliance. Thank you. Artey Williams
Baroque and peacefulThis is a really nice composition. With many baroque and neoclassical influences, Bach, Mozart... Really nice and charm score. I think that the sound of the score is a little bit sinthetic, but with some production of the MIDI you could get a great track. Maybe if you add some strings arrangements...

Cute xylophone pieceNew York’s Erik-Peter Mortensen has composed a neo-baroque xylophone solo entitled Xylofun. The piece would challenge most performers with bar accuracy and rolling. Hope to see it published and distributed!
OriginalOriginal for the choice of timbre. The genre is the baroque one, with a modern taste. Well built and pleasant listening. Not too short not too long. Right, balanced. A great job The execution is digital, I think ... it would be interesting to hear it performed by a "true" performer
Brave and Bold! This song is light and airy, and paints a picture of leaves dancing in the crisp fall. I love the way Erik utilized the upper register and kept the theme of his song fresh and alive with vibrant tones a. It is a refreshingly different piece that I am familiar with, and I hope to hear more from Erik, bravo!
