Fabulous blend of voices
The texture and layers of sound within this track are terrific. The simple lyrics and story line is thought provoking. I really enjoy the skill of making much out of little and this song hits the nail on the head. Well done. I would love to hear this in a cathedral setting using the acoustics of the knave or in a natural open air amphitheatre. The 6 minutes and 17 seconds went by perfectly. The human voice is amazing. Thank you.

Longing for the Promised Land from Babylon A most lovely rendering of an old yet ever new psalm. Close your eyes and you can feel the presence of their voices and the ambiance of a gothic cathedral in the middle ages. Yet, the heart of the Psalmist is evoked when the sorrow of captivity is understood while being ever hopeful of the final return to the promised land.

I was really impressed and so surprised with this song. I've heard some of your other music but this song seems different. I thought this song had a really good sound and seemed well put together. I really enjoyed it.

Flowing
It reminds me of the Bach Chorales we studied in music. Easy on the ears, lots of work writing those parts out. I would say nice job and keep up the good work. This is composition, not songwriting which the world can use more of.

Hello Erik-Peter, I must say that this is a beautiful rendition of the Psalm 137 in part. As in the style of the King’s Court Minstrels in Solomon’s Court. The instrumental is very well crafted to the resonance of the vocal talent. I suggest the future entire production would benefit if a male vocal talent would be included for every other verse or in tandem. It is a first class composition worthy of a concert venue in the performance of Choral Cathedral Music. Did I detect a harp accompanying the guitar or was it another instrument? I would love to hear the entire piece when composed. A timely piece of music during Israel’s current war. I hope the finished work will include some add instruments as played in those days such as the lyre or harp and mandolin. The Vocal Talent sings with a true anointing for this Psalm of Lament over Captivity so is well suited to this style of Choral Music. The layering of the vocal works well in making this composition worthy of nomination for best performance to be released for public presentations on radio broadcasts for worship.
