Of Sirens, Spells & Storms

This "Of Sirens, Spells & Storms" seems to me a wonderful work. It's very inriguing from the beggining, but when you leave the music flows into you you'll find a deep enchanted word. It's very nice the way they use sound effects, it's so well done that you never keep away from the main subject. Also taked me into a very interesting travel with the music, and never get me the chance of loose that warmth feeling. I guess that has a mentored and hard work un the background of it. Amazingly you walk on that road that the composer instigate you to get into and with all that sounds I never quit that trip. So I think it's a very good work, congratulations.

Of Sirens...Spells and Storms

On and on...we learn and love, we laugh and lose, we strive and win or fall. This is an instrumental that brings to mind Pink Floyd's 'psychadelic music' of the Spirit. A feature I love is the descending and ascending of the music that takes a listener to a newer level of understanding of the nuances of the tenderness inherent in each note. The percussion continues to be spot on throughout the piece holding together to a collective consciousness. Thoughts of open heavens, havens, restlessness until peace is found.

Nice concept

Nicely put together arrangement and great use of exotic sounds. I wish it was a little bit louder. I had to crank my speakers to really get a feel for it. I am really liking the guitar shredding on top of the solo as well. A very nice touch.

Cool Sounds

Interesting mix of psyhodelic sounds and slow rhythmical movements. I like the Idea to experiment with exotic or strange sounds. It reminds me a lot some Pink Floyd songs... This is maybe good, but be careful - its not the best thing for a musician to sound like someone.

mistery

Helpful

The song gives me a sensation of sweet mistery. A little voices seem to be moan of sirens , the electric guitar is nice and sweet , yes is a magic song, nice for one to be listening it in summer in front of the sea taking tonica, looking at the sea , the waves and relaxing. storms are also softly showed as they were still faraway. yes good work.I like it

Greetings my Friend and good afternoon. Just listened to "Of Sirens, Spells & Storms" and I must say..... Very Surreal Sounding product you have here and I love it. Gives me the feeling of a John Meyer/Jimi Hendrix and believe it or not, Lynyrd Skynyrd on Cannabinoid Oil lol... Seriously speaking, I did enjoy the song and have become fan. Keep it going Bro, I'm definitely on the look out for more Wudgrain Musik ....

Out in the deep blue sea...

Helpful

There is a trance like feel to the song when it starts like one is on the ocean, deep out in the blue waters, on a very hot and hazy day. Only those who have been this far out to sea know this feeling. I don't know if El Magico has been there, but, he has caught the feeling of it. The song is an instrumental. It is excellent in the sense that the musician is talented and he was able to paint a vivid and descriptive canvas, without writing a word. I enjoyed the playback very much. I like the samples he used, or what I think were samples, for the voices of the sirens. The song has many textures and colors throughout. I can definitely hear a Hendrix influence but El Magico brings a very original feel to it as well. As with all instrumentals, it is not for everybody but, as for me, I thought it was excellent.

Very nice sound

This Is Very unique I like how you kept it very simple and strong at the same time. Very smooth type of beat. The title is nice also. You must have a nice sound system in your place. Keep up the good work.

El Magico

Haunting introduction, nice guitar tone, and a good mix. Maybe designed to be a bit loose but the structure remains strong. I like the percussion accents. When the song ended it felt like something was missing in my mind. But wait, I can play it again. Relaxing therapeutic music. I like it.

Cowboy

I like this song because it sounds good and it makes me feel like I am riding a horse because the song reminds me of a cowboy movie and I like the sound of the guitar and I like how the beat sounds in the beginning. This review was written by yailin.

to visualize rather than to simply hear

El Magico (Hector Lopez Tesillos) brings us Or Sirens, Spells & Storms, a progressive instrumental of textural form. Hector's pallet is always replete with depth and imagery in the vein of Pink Floyd and King Crimson in their early years. From a listener's standpoint, it is actually better to sit back and put on the headphones as this is a song to be experienced but not as passive background noise. From a producer's perspective I shave off a full point due to the percussion being way too deep in the field and its reverberations a bit too garbage can sounding for me personally... and the output being so low... I can tell that this piece was a mixdown and not a mastering as it lacks the overall signal strength as a result of any final conditioning for broadcast or gain matching to any other work. Those few changes would make a world of difference in the overall quality and subsequent rating.

'Of Sirens, Spells & Storms' Review

Here is a another fine instrumental by El Magico. This piece starts off with a nice guitar melody that give a nice contrast to the piece. The drums give an bit of dynamics to it where the tune becomes a little more serious. I imagine as if i was driving in the rain and then just got pulled over in a type of imaginative sequence. It takes you on a interesting ride with a different spin. One only down is the levels are a bit low. Otherwise, Keep it up!

Background noise!

so I like this track a lot I was just wondering if you actually play these instruments alive or what actually were you using to come up with the production I was thought of maybe a little bit by the vocals in the very beginning of the song but the overall track is really good I heard a little undertone I don't know if it was my phone but it seems as if there were some kind of a static or some kind of noise in the background of the actual track but other than that everything sounds great I like the melodies it's a really unique track

Sirens Spells Storms and a need of Shatner

Helpful

It starts psychedelic and spacey with a twang and it continues that through out the track. Its very Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam like without the Eddie Vedder. All you need is William Shatner reading his poetry and got yourself a masterpiece

So many great ideas

Helpful

Like the title of my review says, there are so many great ideas in this track but they seem to get a bit lost in the mix. Unfortunately on my end it all sounded a bit muddy and I just wanted to hear the guitar more clearly but overall I love the space and ambience of it.
