Edison Cadavid Cabrera artistically known as "Efecto-Mc Aka DRLove" is an exponent and composer of urban music, born in the city of Cali-Colombia on December 1, 1976. His beginnings in hip hop music were in the year 2005 where he had his first experience in a recording studio, influenced, inspired by hip hop artists of the 90's. such as Vanilla ice, Mc Hammer, Vico c, 2pac among others was that it gave way to materialize his first song called ''Love for hip hop'' directed under the production of Sensey productions owned by an artistically known rapper from the city Like ''Shaolin'', the artist states that by writing songs he found the escape route to get away from problems and that God gave him the gift of music to save him from the danger that lives on the streets. To date, he has participated in different cultural processes in the city, one of them was in 2010 where he decided to be part of a group of Hip Hop artists organized by a foundation called ''Hip Hop Peña'' in alliance with the IPC where the vision and main focus were to expand the knowledge of each artist regarding the subject of Hip Hop and its 4 elements. in this process he had the opportunity to show his abilities before an audience for the first time. After that he gained more confidence making some appearances in the local hip hop scene, working on new songs and featuring with some artists from the city. in 2013 he decided to be part of a call for artists called ''Metrópolis 2013'' where he had to present an audition with an unpublished song, thus going on to participate with a song called ''Es Una Realidad'' it should be noted that in this event Approximately a total of 80 artists participated, including soloists, groups and bands where only the 10 best qualified for the semifinals. As a surprise, this artist managed to keep a quota to continue in the competition. Although he did not manage to advance to the end, it was an enriching experience, as the artist stated. From there, he decided to disappear from the stage for a while to dedicate himself solely to writing new songs. His reappearance in urban music was in 2017 where he began to work on an EP made up of 4 tracks, converted into what we now know as his most recent single called ''Mi chica ideal'' which has achieved good reception in some foreign music platforms, one of them is N1M where 99% of the users are from the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, achieving 6,000 reproductions in less than a month and Revernation could not miss where it has positioned itself in the first places, managing to be #1 on several occasions for being the most listened to artist locally and nationally on said platform. Something additional to add that highlights this artist is that he dominates the imagination very well, but on the other hand there are songs full of realities, others of love, romanticism, it is also easy for him to get into different rhythms and styles derived from urban music.
