July 6th., 2020. Again, I apologize for this email sent to you all as one

Good Morning, Afternoon, Evening, I hope you are all well on this fragile planet. What a time for us all, Condolences to all who lost loved ones during this pandemic, And prayers to all affected by this global change in our existence. Thank our most high for music as it is a form that can help us through time, space, and change. This atmospheric alteration of our means of living has affected me as well. Yet, why worry , I do, and the masks are what they are , and well prevention is the key I suppose. However, what about all those other theories, statements, alternative information about this pandemic? Who knows? I would be interested to how this pandemic affected each of you, your families, as you folks are the barometer of the world so to speak from my little universe. If some of you do not know, I moved mid June to a place closer to Concordia University, Edmonton, Alberta, where it is lower expenses. I only worry about the Elder I was looking after, his kids had a change of plans. Dwayne is a good man, who helped me through schools, my film project and music. He definitely gets a credit in my work as an artist up there with my twin brother Ronald and my son Dorian. Which brings me to my latest cover picture. An artist friend of mine in BC posted this picture and others from my 1996 Wedding to the beautiful and talented artist Laila Hansen of Greenland. A performer /filmmaker like myself, I met her through my old acting agent, who said she was looking for a producer. I said, "okay?..." curious, we met, both stating that it is strictly business" lol. I helped her producer her video for her grant application, created her Telefilm grant proposal, and edited her desktop video at t he time. Ya right strictly business... One night the hairs of our forearms touched and well that was it, five weeks later we both got married in Pandora's Park East Vancouver. What a time. From left to right" Designer Carole Goethz (Bride's Maid), John Powell, Fashion Designer/Artist, Laila Hansen Dancer/Actor Filmmaker, Moi Musician, Dancer, Actor Filmmaker, Twin brother Lawyer Ronald Morin, Singer/Artist Sandy Scofield, (She sang at the wedding), and Visual Artist George LIttlechild. Well, There were a few more at the wedding, Barry Morris of The Native Longhouse Church was the Pastor, and Mark Prior best man. I hope you liked the picture, just a personal side of me that I rarely share due to respecting the ex Mrs. Morin lol. But avec John's posting on Facebook, it gave me a sense of relief, now I can share my wedding pics without offence to my son, his late mother or others. November 1996, her grandfather died, so she returned to Greenland, and I stayed with my son till I travelled to Saskatchewan to visit his late mother in the Sherbrooke Nursing home where she was cared for. Not sure if any of you knew, my son's mother had a tragic accident January 1994, which left her blind, tube fed and incapacitated. She could only hear, and it was a tragedy for both myself and our son. For twenty years we could not do much, as she was granted custody to her mother who placed here in the home. November 2015, she passed away a few months after her grand daughter's birth. A sad time for us, she is still in our hearts and A summer's Dream was a song I wrote for Danielle Lucille Pruski December 31st 1957 to November 9th 2015. Today, I am working on my film, grant writing and setting up my music studio again lol. So this summer, I should have some hew songs up and playing God bless you all for takng time out of your lives to listen to my music and read my emails. take care. Sincerely your, Donald Morin, BA
