Greetings and I hope this new year is going well for you. I hope you also had a wonderful holiday. I enjoyed the time off just kicking back. This is the first year we didn’t travel. We did have a nice Christmas and did a zoom meeting with my family, so it was nice to be able to do that. I did spend time getting more familiar with social media so I have been posting quite a bit. Eric is a very cool guy and the class was really good. I have some great ideas for practice to improve. So if I’m not playing, I’m practicing. I can’t see how we as a nation have come to this type of behavior. We have innocent people who have families driven by a man’s arrogance to do his dirty work based on a lie. The sad part is that these innocent people who broke into the federal building are now facing criminal charges. It is now going to destroy their careers, their families, their entire life and Why and for what? They were deceived into believing a lie. Maybe these people are filled with some sort of hate. Some of these people were killed in the process. I admit that when hearing about this, I get very irritated and upset as to why someone would allow something like this to happen. There is so much hate built up and it’s something that can become dangerously contagious if we don’t get a grip on it. One comforting thing is found in Proverbs 16:4 “Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord; Though they join forces, none will go unpunished.” I and we all need to stop hating and start loving. Proverbs 10:12 says: “Hatred stirs up dissention, but Love covers all wrongs. “ Loving others still means we can disagree and take positive, respectable actions to make a change. But we also need to have the truthful facts and not facts driven by lies. This is known as having discernment. Lies destroy. One of the top 10 things God hates is Lies. (proverbs 6:16). So, you want good days? Read what it says in Psalm 34:12 about having good days. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. I would also add to this, keep your mind from believing lies. I would bet that you would want to see good days and see good days for your family as well. I want to see good days for you.
