About Colby King

Colby King is 33 years old from Shreveport,La. He first discovered the art of rapping when he was 13 years old. King was already in inpatient rehab and he had to write a story, or do a skit, or write a song. His group decided to write a song and he hasn’t stopped since. He performed on the fox rich show when he was 15 and won. He’s performed for Arklatex Idol and got in the top 10. He’s performed 3 years at 'let the good times roll' festival in Shreveport,La. Mr. King grew up at a very young age. He was raised by his single mother and his dad left when he was 1. His mother was always in and out of abusive relationships but addiction ended up taking her life. Colby King is a 5 time felon! He also went to jail for vehicular homicide due to driving under the influence. Now King is on the other side of the fence. “I made it out of Hell, which is why my first album is called 'From Hell To Heaven'”
