But,... more To be honest, I often find myself in a difficult position reviewing some of the tracks on here. But, that was not the case at all with Juuce's "Slow"!! I got caught off guard, I won't lie! The rap-singing reminded a lot of Trey Songz at parts, but Juuce has his own signature demeanor and delivery, which make him stand-out easily. The low-end deep rasp in his voice is just perfect in these kind of tracks, in my opinion! But that ain't all! The absolute highlight is the strictly, straight up fire, rap verse Juuce spits before the final hook! Turned a slow jam to a BANGER, before you could even blink! That is straight talent there, not many people can do both at such a level! The only things I would critique, and which, in my opinion, could be improved, are the mixing and mastering, and beat-selection. Let me explain. While nor the mixing/mastering, or the production, are bad, they are not great either. The beat could have had a bit more help from the mixing, but again it would still lack that lil something to take it over a notch. And the mixing/mastering, sounds a bit underwhelming. The drums needed a bit more punch, 808 needed to be a bit phatter, and so did the vocals. There is an overall "thinness" in the sound, and a lack of "punch", which makes the track sound a bit weaker than it actually is! Cause this is a str8 banger, no doubt!! My best wishes to Juuce and his future in music, cause there is a lot of that in the horizon!
