Chadwick Station are a lot like you. Their taste in music is broad. It all depends on the mood. They're a British band that's relocated to Nashville. That's definitely had an influence on their sound. Brit pop, R&B, rock, a little country.
They released their debut EP, Waiting for a Sunny Day, to rave reviews. Fortitude Magazine gave it 5 out of 5 stars and gushed, "Quite possibly one of the greatest retro-inspired things you’ll ever hear." Drew Blackwell at (expired link) said, "I must admit Waiting for a Sunny Day sucked me in like a powerful drug and refused to let go long after the music was over."
Charles Martel at Music Emissions said, “Now, I am sticking my neck out here, but I really do detect elements of the Beatles in here - just occasionally the McCartney style of songwriting, reminiscent of songs such as "Michelle" and "Yesterday" peek through. Phew! How are this band going to live up to a start like that?” Good question, Charles.
So, here's what the band decided to do. They seriously thought about an album. You know, a compilation of songs that artists try to string together into some cohesive package with a cool cover and interesting liner notes. But who really listens to albums anymore? Really.
Chadwick Station are breaking the mold. Actually, they're going back to what artists used to do in the '50s and early '60s. Singles. Songs. Let each piece of music speak for itself.
Like their latest single, Cryin' (Ain't Gonna Win Her Back). Pure retro R&B. Like The Sound of Philadelphia, or Stax out of Memphis back in the day. The folks in the Carolinas call it beach music. Contagious bass. Rhythmic drums. Dirty horns. Makes you want to dance. It's like you jumped in a hot tub time machine.
Each of us has myriad moods. We express them at different times. And so it shall be for Chadwick Station from here on out. No more albums or EPs, just singles. One great single after another and another and…

Finally! New music from Chadwick Station. This is a retro R&B number that will pull you back into the '70s with afros and hot pants. Cryin' (Ain't Gonna Win Her Back) is the first of a string of singles coming from Chadwick Station. We firmly believe the album is on its way out. Too many albums have been too much filler, not enough hits. In this day and age of streaming, no one is going to sift through a bunch of mediocre songs to get to the good ones. So we're only releasing the good ones.
Hope you enjoy. Listen here on N1m or choose your platform. (expired link)

Dear Chadwick Station Fan:
Who says nobody ever asks for your opinion? We want yours! The band is getting set to release its first album in seven years! Yeah, hard to believe it's been that long. We are now in the fine-tuning stage and we want to put together a focus group of the band's biggest fans. There is NO COST for this. It's just a way for us to get input from our fans to make the music the best it can be. We want to know what you think.
You would be given access to the tracks before they're made public so we can get your opinion. And we're talking about everything as nit-picky as lyrics, instruments, anything. We send you the song and you give us your honest opinion, good or bad. Don't like a certain line in a song? Tell us. Think a certain instrument is too loud or too low? Let us know.
Now, we can't guarantee we'll make every change you suggest, but this gives you more power in shaping the music from a band you already love. So, with that said, just email me at chadwickstation@(expired link) and put FOCUS GROUP in the subject line. You'll become part of our elite insiders focus group that helps make the band's music even better.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey, ChadFan:
We appreciate all the great feedback you've given us on our music. Thought you might be interested in a little trivia about the song High and Low. The background vocals are performed by the legendary Beeb Birtles, founding member of the Little River Band. Beeb's harmonies can be heard on all of LRB's hits including Reminiscing, Cool Change, Help Is on It's Way, and the rest. He wrote LRB's hit Happy Anniversary. We were thrilled work with him. If you listen carefully, High and Low has that LRB vibe because of Beeb's background vocals. Here's a link to his Wikipedia page:
