A spinoff project from Cats For Dinner is my classic electro-pop band know as Orson and the True Goats (OTG). When time got 'thin' for Cats, OTG was a great venue to expel all the compressed energy and experimentation that couldn't be executed or released with a live band. So CFD (Cats for Dinner) and OTG would ping pong back and forth, making an interesting variety of sounds. What wasn't good for the cat was great for the goat and vise versa. I found volumes of OTG music in my many archives that I forgotten and started to digitally remaster them into vintage gems. Personally, I have found them very refreshing to re-visit - kind of a memory rush waking up a few brain cells I thought I lost. Maybe someday, now that wax is having a revitalization period, I'll take these recordings to a pressing plant and stamp out an LP. Gotta hit the lottery - or something like that. Till then, I'll just keep the beat and never stop rocking. Truly, DAP
