"Keep him alive as long as you can."

People ask me "Why do you do this music stuff? You're old, not that good looking and dont play live!" I have fun doing it, like playing golf. More than that tho is this -- I have this Voice that says things to me. It's my voice but it's not me doing the talking. (Insanity? Could be.) But the Voice saved my life a few times so I pay it attention to it. I discovered it has been saying "Keep him alive as long as you can" since I was around 10. What does it mean? I don't know. I believe the "him" is me at that 10 years old stage -- before puberty et al. So that's what keeps me going. It's keeping that young lad up and at'em. For as long as I can.
