Hey: Just want to thank you for taking the time to sample a taste of Brooklyn Soul Biscuits. I really appreciate it. For years i've worked on all sorts of projects including Brass construction, (New York) Skyy ,Funk Deluxe, BT Express, Raphael Cameron, Tamiko Jones and others, but this Brooklyn Soul Biscuits album is quite special to me. It’s the result of the urgings and encouragement of friends and associates with an undying taste for funk and Soul, and who, fed up with what was being played on the radio, thought that I should produce something that would satisfy their yen for some back-in-da’-day classic-flavored soulful and funky jams. Well, this album, Soul Biscuits, features the performances of some of Brooklyn’s (and the New York City area’s) finest funk and soul musicians, including Larry Marsden-guitar (First circle), Ajax-trumpet (Crown Heights Affair), Kevin Scott-Bass ( Joe Public) and Leslie Ming- (Drums) BT Express, all jamming on the one. Again, I thank you for sharing this with me.To know that you're out there listening and enjoying the music is, more than money can buy. It is my greatest reward.
