I find this being a very well laid out song. It builds very naturally, remaining the vocals in focus at all times. Beautiful backing vocals! The production is neat and appropriate for this type of storytelling songs. Smooth, relaxed and very much Summer are the feeling I am left with. I definitely feel that the song belongs on at least a handful of my playlists! I find no real downs here, which surprises myself! To summarize: a great, beautiful and soft cuddly song for cozy situations, almost like a lullabye. Bravo!

As always I type while playing the song. Maybe there is a little more life (live), a little more highend, a little more reverb. I did not compare versions, it's from memory. In this case, I would say it gives a "live performance" feeling. People would know what to expect when they book you for a gig. I forgot Las Vegas besides the café/hotel/cruiseship feeling that I get. And the picture of older people dancing. Your easy listening is indeed easy on the ears. Is it my thing? No..I like MiniMoog, Arp and all other synths in the universe, heavy toms, strings. vocoders and such. Is that bad?...No...Know your audience and be thankfull for the appreciation for what you (try to) do. And remember: this reviewer is an amateur with his own taste and who cannot sing or play very well himself....

The first thing that sticks out is the instrumental. It's very smooth and compliments the lyrics. The lyrics are well written and relatable. The song seems to be well mixed as well I like the record overall.

Great mixture of easy listening influenced by pop music. Billy Stergs unique vocals underlaid with gently keyboard sound enriching his deep feel. The soft mood of the lyrics make the meaning of the song engaging for me. But the whole song is more various. The introducing starts off with melodious arpeggios of an acoustic guitar and increases the arrangement. Accompaining e-guitar in the chorus inspired by hawai guitar sound creating a great space in the backround. Professional recorded song, good mixed and overall perfect mastered. The lyrics come from the heart and touching the soul. This song is from a musician, who understand to give an account in words about someone or something, including all relevant characteristics. There is too much reverb in the mix, not only on the voice. I think the genre country would fit better than pop. Very simple arrangement where I am not sure if I should criticize or not. I would make a more modern arrangement. On the other hand it is declared as genre easy listening. Song writing: easy chord progression is ok, but for me the song needs a catchy melody.
