Nice opening. Well recorded and mixed. Great story. (Take it up a half step maybe? Low notes in your register will sound better.) The beat and groove are really good. I like the instrumental. Add some harmonies? I am not trying to be picky. This is very well done and those little things could be the difference between a great song and an incredible one.

good song with good vocals.recorded well but instrumentally boring. acoustic bass a good touchwouldhave rather heard a lead guitar or harmonica in the solo section. I liked the message in the lyrics

It has a flow not unlike a Johnny Cash song, with a driving rhythm and vocals going to the point. I also like that it was cleanly recorded, with all elements easily understood. Well done.

This song drew me right in. I love a good story with a theme most of us can relate to. The lyrics are honest and I do appreciate conversational style of lyricism. The melody builds as you arrive into the chorus and then there is a nice pause. I do like the flutes/pipes which is a good melodic and interesting contrast to the rawness off the bass drum guitar arrangement. The only thing is that I hear something going on with the percussion/ rythm that might be needing to be cleaned up.The song starts with 6:00 and ends with 6:00, ending with a resolving and contrasting theme. Very nice.

Nice job. The emotional content is slightly covered by very well done production work -smooth prettiness covers real pain of content.A great song,great musicianship.

Needs more work on production to make it interesting.

lyric phrasing could be better planned and rhyming needs more attention chorus could use some backing vox or at least a thickening solo has interesting tone but needs a little more power a nice little tune up the arrangement and production to up the pro potential
