Sober And Broke

Nice attempt at traditional country music. Very refreshing. I would love to hear it performed, but just recorded.

Sober and broke

I like this. Your voice is very soothing. I could see this playing in the background in some little bar in the south or in a movie. I think it's a little dated though to be a hit on the charts. Make the music a little more current and I think you have a hit!

Review of Sober and Broke

Hello. Cool voice. And I like the lyrics. And it is very pleasant to listen to a melodious song with some commonsense in the lyrics. Give me a full song on www.reverbnation.com/taba and I will definitely promo you on the country scene.

Sober and Broke and probably on a register somewhere

-He really should`nt drink on whatever medication he`s on anyway. The "Voices in my head" lines suggest it`s a comedy song (Well, that and the music) -but the rest of it lets you know you should just back slowly away from him smiling politely then make a run for the barroom door & get out of the county. If this was any better it would be a recording of a drunken karaoke night.

Man, if that's not some bonehead hillbilly shit, I don't know what is. Cliched knucklehead country writing, performing, and production; and sub par by those bad standards.

Song: Sober And Broke

Wow finally something worthwhile to evaluate. Nice intro, song's well done, I really think you have something here, and this is just a demo? I'd like to hear the end result. I'd buy this song. Best of luck, Guy

time to get drunk and rich!

vocal phrasing is trying to fit too many words per line during verses at times well played track solo break is sleepy and weak like the modulation after solo for a pickup enjoyable toon time to grab my last beer before you reach for it

Sober and Broke - Nathan T Hunt

A bit of country is a welcome change from all the hip hop/rap/and club I've been listening to and reviewing. 'Sober and broke and down to my last beer' a nice lyric, some nice guitar licks, a familiar lilt, and a warm smiley voice, even a fiddle line. Worth more than a demo, but have a look at some of the slightly clumsy lyrics, if they all matched up to the chorus of 'Sober and broke and down to my last beer' then I think it could be a country winner.
