Great guitar work!

I really enjoyed the tone and technique in your guitar work. I think it is very saleable and would buy it if I had the opportunity. I enjoyed your electronic pad under the guitar work. I think it is a marketable product.

FUN & PEACEFUL

I LISTENED TO A COUPLE OF NICE TRACKS, BUT I WANTED AND CHOSE TO REVIEW YOURS, BECAUSE YOU HUMBLY ASKED FOR HONEST FEEDBACK. I REALLY, REALLY LOVE YOUR SONG "Botafoch"!!!!!!!!! IT SERVES BEST AS AN EXCELLENT ALBUM KUT, TO A GREAT AND SOLID ALBUM. IT SEEMS TO BE MISSING A KICK DRUM. TO ME, THAT COULD BE INTENTIONAL, AN OVERSIGHT WHICH WORKS OUT WELL, OR THE KICK COULD HAVE BEEN TOO LOW, IN THE FINAL MIX. EITHER WAY, THE SONG SOUNDS GREAT. I KEPT FINDING MYSELF LOOKING FOR AND ANTICIPATING THE "Drop" OF THE KICK DRUM COMING IN, ESPECIALLY WITH ALL THE OTHER PERCUSSION GOING ON (sounds like a Roland TR-808 or 909). FOR MARKETABILITY....LIKE, FOR THIS TO BE A HOT & GROWING "Single", IT COULD USE A HEAVY HOUSE MUSIC, KICK DRUM PATTERN (4 on the floor). THAT WOULD PUT THE SONG IN BETTER POSITION TO CROSSOVER INTO A CERTAIN POP MARKET, BECAUSE THE 4/4 HEAVY KICK DRUM WOULD INSTANTLY MAKE THE SONG MORE DANCEABLE AND Djs AROUND THE GLOBE COULD MIX YOUR SONG INTO A VAST VARIETY OF SETS!!! OTHER THAN THAT, I DON'T SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS COMPOSITION. IT'S LOVELY, IT'S CALMING, THOUGHT PROVOKING, ALLOWING THE MIND TO TRAVEL. I LOVE IT!!! AS I SAID, EITHER LEAVE IT, AS IZ AND ALLOW IT TO BE A GREAT ALBUM KUT, OR ADD A 4/4 KICK AND ALLOW IT TO BE A POPULAR DANCE KUT. ACTUALLY, I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU, MAYBE IN THE NEAR FUTURE, ON SOME OF MY MUSIC, SOME OF YOUR MUSIC, ETC. AND I WOULD LOVE TO AND BE HONORED TO AD A FUNKY KICK DRUM ON THIS, FOR YOU, JUST BECAUSE....JUST FOR THE SAKE OF GOOD MUSIC. IN ANY CASE, I WISH YOU & YOUR MUSIC, ALL THE BEST!!! PEACE & BLESSINGS - YOUR FRIEND, Supastar Quazar

Nice Music

Very good mix of jazzy guitar, percussion rythm and wave pad sounds. Cool stereo effects . The ambiance is great and remind good music from jazz fusion like Path Metheny or other great guitarist that I like to listen when I need to relax. The little triangle sound give the right tempo. Well done .

Easy Listening Smooth sound

I am moved by the sound quality of this track first and foremost . the music is definitely quality with the musical content of the guitar and the lead melody with an extraordinary beat mixed in with the tempo. The tempo is off set from the percussion while the bass guitar sets the beat that contrasts with the entire piece. Overall I like this instrumental jazz sound and would recommend a jazz listener to buy this most definitely !

Nice Lounge track by Bandsman

Well, it's a nice track with a summer vibe..and sounds good here :-)...the intro is interesting & the rhythms get one into the groove..yet, it seems a more chill-out/lounge tune as I couldn't identify a clear melody or melodic progression..and with 6 mins it might be just too long.:-)..so I feel a more compact version with a stronger melodic approach would have a better commercial impact...all with all a nice job done & cheers! :-)

Digital meets Jazzy hyper island groove.

Bandsman has done a very nice job putting together what many have called impossible, this connection of fusion sound is soothing to the ear and yet motivates a deep thought process. Considering that this is virtually untouched market, this sound will open the doors for newer artist looking to create a marriage between digital and instrumental sound. The quality of this is easily ranked with current music of this type played on current mainstream radio today. Good Job !!!

Very nice tune with a sweet groove. Could be very easy to place for underscoring in films and made for TV movies. Very well recorded, produced, and arranged in a contemporary Smooth Jazz style..Well donwe, Bandsman...

Cool Lounge Music

This is nice chill music, which would be great for a lounge cafe, or as background music for a film. The track would be at home on a lounge mix CD, or on a smooth jazz CD. A HUGE plus is the guitar playing, which is a bit too low in the mix for my liking. Maybe it is my speakers, but it sounds like the drums and keyboards are louder than the guitar. Since the guitar is the main instrument, this is disappointing. Is there anything that would improve this? It's fine the way it is, but there are always things that could be done for a longer remix. My first recommendations would be more reverb and echo on the guitar, for example on one last note a nice trippy echo. I am crazy about reverb and echo. Another idea would be to use a more "electronic" sound on the drums, like a distorted effect. For an extended remix, I would add a section with another instrument, like vibes or pan flute, just to break it up, then come back to the beginning.

Very nice!

Reminiscent of the great Luis Salinas style and arrangement, it's a compliment since he's one of my favorites. Sound quality is exceptional and the guitar and percussion are clean and pristine. Also the contemporary style makes it very sale-able. In a nut shell, I like it a lot. Mario La Vera

Great Song!!!!!

Hello sir, this is a great record! I like the drum programming and the production of the song. It kinda reminds me of a chris Boti record or a Kenny G record. This record definitely has a polished and professional sound!!! This record could be listened to in a relaxed state at home with a good pair of headphones, in the car sitting in traffic on the way to work; it can also be listened to at a low volume at work while conquering a heavy work load and trying to maintain a positive mental space. I recommend this record to anyone looking to relax and clear their heads of worry and unwanted confusion! Great Job sir! Keep up the great work!!!!

imagery in motion

Bandsman brings us Botafoch, an instrumental in tribute to the beauty of the spanish island marina that bears its name. The pulse and rhythm suggest this harbor really lights up at night and that is when the action really gets going. Unfortunately this song doesn't completely take advantage of the opportunity. As a song it has all the necessary components to take off and make waves. But it stops short of doing so. As if it were almost afraid to make that leap and it leaves the listener wanting something more active and less passive. This song has all the components... but doesn't fully utilize them.

Very nice rhythmic flow and groove, I enjoy the vibes rising and introduction of other instruments creating a very happy atmosphere. Tis song reached out and caught my attention. It has a HQ sound and is captivating and contagious, A nice mellow club or poolside party mood setter. I really enjoyed this piece and look forward to hear more from Bandsman.

Excellent intro, strong percussion, and rhythm lines throughout the works. Very smooth and well presented guitar licks although the piece left me waiting for more application of those licks as there were plenty of opportunities to get in a few. A very melodic and well crafted piece of work but would have love to have it engage the listener more with your artistic prowess especially with the settings you are using. Can only compliment the works and lead the way. Kudos to all for a very well authored song title as it is not easy to compile works and have everybody on the same page as you guys are. Love your sound quality. I would buy this piece if the lead guitar or any other instrumental artistry had been on display.

A Hypnotic Groove

The music is intense but the effect is calming. I love the clash between the rhythm section and the soloist. It felt like I was on the beach, with a drink, a little wave action, and a warm breeze. The mixing and sound quality are excellent. It is definitely ready for the market. Keep up the excellent work.

Botafoch: Very good and easy listening.

A great moody composition. Combination of easy listening and smooth jazz. Percusssion (bongos, triangle and drums) holds the rhythm together nicely. Intensity increases from beginning to end, and then mellows out. Electric guitars carry the melody, counter melody and the mood throughout. Synthesizer a pleasant constant. Bass guitar helps change the directions at each turn. Very calming and thought provoking. Excellent mixing and mastering.

I love the track! The guitar makes it very easy to relax to. I also love the percussion. The pads in the background really give it warmth and depth to the track. I think maybe you should another instrument lick besides the guitar. Maybe you can add a saxophone solo. Overall, I love the track!

Smooth introduction and nice swell guitar work. Nice driving on the highway music. I wished I would have listened through headphones to see if there was any panning with the mix. Would have like a drum track but it DOESN'T have the "missing it" sound.

My favorite type of relaxing music

Helpful

I LOVE this type of sound when I want to kick back and relax after playing 'my' stuff all night. I can sit back and soak it into my brain and let it block out everything and just sail in it on my recliner as it gives me a back massage and finally 'crash' into a deep sleep. You get a big 5 rating from me, Bandsman - on this tune. Now I have to hear the others. Good Work, man :)
