Tonight I'm playing a short set (about 25 minutes) at 7 Arts Centre in Leeds starting about 8pm! I'll be with Barry Smith (flute) & Martin on percussion. Weird blues line up, but I like to play with other people and these guys are keen, so YES. In fact we're playing more R&B, Soul, Pop than blues - Moondance, Sunny (Bobby Hebb) are in the set. More bluesy are Stealin' & St James Infirmary Blues. Also including Martin's song 'Got to know'. Saw and talked with veteran, legendary English blues & folk player Wizz Jones at the weekend - still going strong at 75! He busked with Davey Graham in the 1950s and introduced one of his songs with "I wrote this in 1960"! Great guy as well as a good musician and entertainer.
