About Alessandro Ferretto
Pianist Alessandro Ferretto has toured as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe.
He received his musical education in Padua (Italy) studying with Daniele Roi at the "Pollini" Conservatory of Music where he graduated with top grades in 2008.
He has attended and completed master classes with eminent professors such as Lilya Zilberstein, Benedetto Lupo, Alberto Miodini from Trio di Parma, Andrea Lucchesini, Sergio Perticaroli, Andrzej Jasinski, Konstantin Bogino and Massimiliano Ferrati.
An enthusiastic recitalist and chamber musician, Alessandro performs regularly as duo-partner with his friend, violinist Davide de Ascaniis.
Versatile artist, Alessandro's repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary music, as well as Jazz. For the last one he study with Italian Pianists Marcello Tonolo, Pietro Tonolo, Stefano Battaglia, Paolo Birro and other. In 2017 he gave the Italian premiere of his own composition “Sonata in one movement” at the Cittadella International Music Festival and received rave reviews from the press. He was also invited to the international Vivace Vilnius Music Festival (Lithuania).
His performances of Beethoven Piano Concerto n.5 have been broadcast on the national radio and television with high acclaim.
