Al and I have a new project called Quintet and we are really excited about it. It is a combination of jazz, singer-songwriter tunes, and poetry. The group includes poet Marc Smith, the founder of the poetry slam concept 35 years ago, along with Chicago saxophonist Brian Gephart and bassist Doug Lofstrom.
