Greetings! Much preparation is going on for the next two months. We are getting ready for a Five City, UK Tour. Excitement doesn't describe the feeling knowing this will be my first European Experience. My plans are to perform at local venues in the London Metropolitan area. Be ready for Addis Best and his crew to Turn Up with tunes like Keep it True, On My Grown, and Trample the Enemy. We will also debut tracks from the New Album "The Ooo-Wop."

Greetings my people, today's feature is Addis Best. It is a label that was adopted years ago, describing a work ethic that he strives toward. At first this was only a nick name, now an inadvertent. Addis is more of an artist by nature. It began in the churches of Newark (expired link). at about the age of 6. He took a liking to music and never looked back. At first he sang, then was introduced to Rap in '84. This was his earlier experiences with Hip Hop, as a Beat Boxer. He never wrote a lyric until '91, when he joined the group Sez ? Who. Then he began performing songs to larger audiences. He cyphered, and became acquainted with New Jersey Celebrities where he observed operations closely. As a student of The Institute of Audio Research and William Paterson University-Music Department he incorporated Jamaican Roots with Gospel Melodies to Hip Hop, creating a Genre Fusion called "Gospel."
Addis returned to church audiences with zeal, and over time evolved into the Entertainer Addis . He still possesses the desire to learn more regarding the Music Business. Whether Artist, Producer, Manager knowing and understanding all areas of the Industry proves useful in fulfilling His Ultimate Purpose.
In a world with such extremes as Gospel Music and Hip Hop there is one artist that stands apart from the rest. This experience Resurrects Hip Hop.
The goal is to meet the need of a people who could use encouragement Rhythmically or Spiritually.
This culture will gain a respect for the original Qualities of Hip Hop.
In the same way as the Christ brought His cousin Lazarus back to life, the "Energy is Us" Hip Hop is Risen!
This message has been well received by churches across the East Coast. Addis plans to take this music all throughout the World.
With "Persistence" this mission is possible. The 15 track debut album, encourages Resilience beyond adverse situations. Tracks like “Live Out Loud," “Such A Night," and “Get at This" promotes this message clearly.
