Drew On: "Hold On Tight" By, Townsend&Tucker

It's the 1960's in the 21st century AWSOME! You have to really know your classic rock 1960's 1970's to love & understand this song. I got it fellas! :) The world needs peace now more then ever TRUST!

I like

the old school vibrations. Sounds very traditional and together.

Hold On Tight

Love the groove of this tune and the lyrics are well written I think. The mix needs something though, especially on the vocals and guitar. The bass sounds really good. Don't get me wrong, the vocals are done really well, they just sound like they were recorded in a big room with no sound proofing at all. May try playing around with the mix, maybe double track the vocals and take the sharp edge off of them. Also try softening up the guitar and keys a little. Just a few thoughts on how to maybe improve a great song a little. Very nice work, really enjoyed listening.

The musical proposal for the 70 years is good. The mix is fine and the arrangements too. I think that you could improve some guitars solos to change a little bit the song line, but it is fine. Keep the good work.

Nice

The mix is nice, very smooth, nothing jumping out and it flows very nicely. The vocals are sweet and work very well, the small parts of the harmonies on the phrases really helps as well, the words are well constructed also. Not the strongest vocalist, but it works well for this sort of music so not really a criticism, little weak on the high end. Everything flows very nicely, we think that maybe it could build up a bit more to something, it just sort of comes and goes. Towards the end when it sort of builds the vocals should really get some more purchase as it loses some power which is a shame. For what it is, it is very good, but it should have some dynamic contrast and maybe build to something more.

Hold on Tight

Pretty song. The vocals could be a little louder in the recording. Love the accompaniment of all the instruments. Not a bad job.

hold on tight

has some good quality but needs more power of some sort

Hold on Tight

Perfect sound from the keys, voices blend well together, harmony sounds well thought, has a John Denver/ Bob Dylan feel to the sound. I like it. Drums give a great timing, bass line is set perfectly. I would soften the high hat just a bit and smooth out the vocals with less breaks in each line, like your not getting enough air before you sing.

hold on tight

nice intro for a traditional song, sounds are traditional too but the arrangement is well done; the melodic line is a bit monotone; you could try to inprove to have a song more catchy in particolar in the refrain;when a melody or something in the song keeps the mind of the listener , it is the most important thing, because he then say “i buy”; good luck and keep it up

Hold On Tight

Cool vibe. Nice and mellow feeling. The production is done well. The instrumentation works well together. The lyrics are done thoughtfully and lend themselves to be reflective. Good job
