I wrote this track shortly after the brutal murder of George Floyd, like myself, millions across the world were left completely heartbroken, angry, tired, traumatised and emotionally drained by the continuous murder of Black & Brown people by Dirty Police.
This song reflects not only my voice but possibly yours too, as well as the millions of us who are tired of injustices, unjustified murders, oppression, unequal opportunities, brutality and the systemic racism that is deeply embedded in our societies.
I hope it speaks to you, it touches you, it inspires us to take action in order to make this world a better place.

Hopefully this will be the first of many monthly newsletters.
I promise I’ll be uploading some new material over the next week, can’t thank you enough for all your messages of support.
The last few months have been highly productive, I’ve been doing multiple shows in Spain, UK, Austria & France as well as working on new music and videos.
In addition to that I recently got involved in a charity project in West Africa which I’ll tell you about very soon.

MoYah, an Afrofusion artist hailing from war-torn Mozambique, stands as a testament to resilience and creativity. Forced to flee his homeland amidst a 16-year conflict, he found solace in the diverse musical palette provided by his parents and the impactful world of Rap while living in Lisbon.
Influenced by the realisation that music could transcend entertainment, MoYah transformed his experiences into a powerful tool for self-exploration and social expression. As a child of the African Diaspora, his music reflects the struggles, faith, and strength born from war and displacement.

Designated as the Hip Hop Ambassador of May Project Gardens in 2021, MoYah actively contributes to this grassroots organisation, empowering marginalised communities globally to address poverty, disempowerment, and access to resources. MoYah's journey transcends music, embodying a fusion of resilience, artistry, and social impact.
