Minimalistic but precious
Just a guitar, a voice and a violin - a truly minimalistic setup, but it works, mainly due to the excellent sound of the voice. It feels as if the singer is sitting right beside you in a small room, very personal and intimate. The violin is adding the colour then. And that's it. Nothing more. The song is breathing transparency, there no unnecessary gimmicks to attract whatever attention. Raw and pure and precious. Well done.

I’ve been listening to this track and honestly it is art, I love the subtleness the calm yet emotional transfer you have done an awesome job with this one and I won’t be surprised if it goes viral, do you have a music video for it? I can picture a lakeside setting sunset just a happy melancholic feel. And the instruments behind it definitely compliments the calmness of the artist so hats off to you and good luck with this project it’s a modern masterpiece congratulations ????

As I Stand Here by Airracket Review
In listening to the tune "As I Stand Here" Is a very mellow Singer / Acoustic tune with hints of violin takes me back to a simpler time which is reflected in to the figerpicking style and chord changes of the song. The sound is very earthy with no effects just pure elements. Great song to have a glass of wine too and contemplate your life and the experiences which you have recalled both good and bad and indifferent. Sure to hear more from the Airracket.

Very poetic writing on this romantic ballad. The violin as a really nice sentimental touch. Your singing makes the lyrics crystal clear and easy to understand, which is not always the case in many songs these days. Well done, I enjoyed my listen.

Lyrical masterpiece.
While not completely writing off a time and a place for simplicity in lyrical composition, as I've matured as a song writer and listener I have grown an appreciation and an aim to write lyrics where every word is chosen carefully not only to perfectly and poetically say what you are trying to say but also down to choosing the words that add the most fitting percussive/rhythmic elements resulting in an overall emotionally gripping effect. I'd love to collab and maybe even get a review from you on my song "Good Old Days". Awesome song with awesome lyrics presented in a raw yet pleasing way. I can't wait to hear more.

As I Stand Here
Let me begin by letting you know how I will be addressing your song. I review from a commercial standpoint…..which is to say how would your composition fair if you were trying to place your song with a publishing firm? The other alternative would be you as artist. If that were the case then one either likes or dislikes what you have produced. That is not my agenda as I stated earlier. The song has some very strong imagery and visual pictures painted...Well done. The production is simple and straight forward...Vocal is in a "sing / speak" style which works well in the overall production. If it were me ..I might reconsider a new title....As I Stand Here is not readily apparent in the body of the song...Perhaps something along the lines of "I Am" might feel more congruent..... Utilizing a stream of conscience is a valid tool but not overly commercial......This song would be a tough sell to an artist or to a publisher... Having said that...I do like your approach and would encourage you to continue to develop your writing voice. Keep writing and Good Luck! RW

Peaceful and contemplative

Greetings, Thank you for choosing me to review your work, I count it an honor to be included in such a task. My hat is off to you and anyone willing to step out and share their gift, talent and love of music to the public. Be it a musician, singer, song writer, actor and so-on. I myself, via 40 some years of experience in the fields, on the road, in the studio, radio, TV, video, and management, consider myself to be a seasoned musician, singer, song writer, studio-sound tech/engineer/ owner/operator, stage manager, find it sometimes hard/difficult and perhaps not even fair to sit in a seat, voicing My Opinion concerning another's creative efforts. Especially in certain genres of music I am not all that familiar with concerning very important elements that make up and meet the required standards to justify the various levels of ratings and grades. So, in saying ALL that, I will limit myself to MY Opinion concerning the quality of the work according to My ears, and the standards I have been familiarized with thru-out the years. I hold to the old - saying " Beauty Is In The EAR of The Beholder ... LOL. The sound quality of the recording over-all is very crisp and bright and clear, I really enjoyed the message in this song. Vocals are smooth and natural, sort of - down to earth as they say, and extremely peaceful. The mix levels let me know who was still in charge of this song. I would bring the music up just a little ...not much..... it is extreme nice backing , be nice to hear it a touch more dominate. Very easy to sit back and listen to. I mean no offense in any part, I myself take all feedback and use it as a tool toward my next project. I pray you feel the same way. Either way, I say to you, keep doing what you do, keep kicking and enjoying what you do. I tell folks all the time for many years. When it stops being FUN, then it's time to stop, and stand back and think about what we are doing, why we are doing it, how we are doing it, what we and others are getting out it. Beautiful Instrumental Work
"As I Stand Here", by Airracket has some really beautiful instrumental work featuring some nice acoustic guitar finger picking and violin. The lyrics and story seem to fit the style of vocals where the singing is more like the spoken word.

Unique folkbased Song
The song comes up with a short intro and goes on with easy picking acoustic-guitar. Really impressive story-telling from a very talented musician. The personal lyrics sounds in some cases a bit melancholic but come from the heart and touching the soul. The song is not overly complex but shows that some chords enough for acoustic based song and a violin brings additionally deeper feel into the music. Its not everyday I come across singer songwriters that have a real earnest charm in their sound. The acoustic guitar has a lovely tone and warmth. The chords of the guitar compliment the lyrical subject well. The violin is a lovely add to this song. I would like to hear more reverb & a little bigger delay on the vocals.
