They are the 1% of the population that have all the wealth and use us to mine our planets precious recourses. They are terraforming this planet as they would any other. There are other beings of great power and influence we to them are no more than Cattle but we have what they don't and that is A SOUL because they are immortal. So they intend to harvest and try to understand what they do not have. We know them as demons, spirits, extraterrestrial , ect.
