Power Pop
I like this song. It has the necessary attributes to be a very succesful release - it is well-recorded, well-balanced mix. The song itself reminds me of various of the best power-pop singles that climbed the charts, like the Knack's "My Sharona" and the Records "Starry Eyes", although the tempo is not quite as snappy as those two songs. The one criticism that I may have is that the lead guitar relies too much on distorted tones - it may be, to my ears, that a cleaner, more incisive tone would un-muddy the guitar breaks that are a bit too metallic to fit the song. There is also some clever, laid-back, Charlie Watts-style back beats which lend it good dance groove to the mix. The singer could, perhaps, do with a little bit of backing harmonies in the the choruses. Overall this is well-worth adding to your play-lists.

Great pop/rock band with fine production...one of the best on this forum !
As always I review when playing the song. Nice to the point intro...I immediately think of Zucchero about how he used his voice. He started causious and in later songs he used his voice in a rougher way. The song makes me think about the "Friends" song mixed with a little REM, and REO Speedwagon guitar sounds. Relaxed american pop/rock. Good production/mix...maybe a reference track for comparison of highend...Good band, fine song, very musical...(says this amateur reviewer who makes computermusic and cannot play or sing this good !). I guess with high tones, mid/side, saturation and such you can give the production just a little extra. You will do well !....

Love this vibe. Great guitar pop, very well recorded. Brings to mind a few great bands who this style really well. Very clean guitar work and a really cool pop song. Will be checking more of their stuff. All the best guys. ATF.
