An extremely well-recorded and mixed song with a slight Tex-Mex poppy feel. When I listened I was conscious that it needed a middle eight or some change of dynamics to change the balance of the song, either by dropping out some instruments from the various verses, or by holding back the playing at certain moments. The song lyric is a touch bland - there are no striking rhymes or hooks that grab the listener's attention. The feel of the song as a whole is good and the playing is excellent.

One of the things I enjoy most about Number One Music artists is the newfound ability to hear music from around the world by singers who I'd never have the chance to listen to otherwise. That, in itself, is a great thing. Here, with this song Zap delivers a smoothly crafted adult contemporary song that I'd expect from the mid 70's.
