Like the hook, the story,, composition of the song, feeling involved and you r voice was a great classic sound. Country needs to return to its roots more. It's straying too far from the mark. Artists like yourself can save the fundamental structure of country. Your voice is more than star quality. The song is quite commercial. I expect to see you in the lime light very soon. Hey Zap, A continuous feast in the music and lyrics of this song. A real typical "Dirty Boy Saga." A song about love and loss and a rebel with no cause. This instrumental has all first class well trained musicians. Loving the amazing harmonica and guitars with percussion back beat that keeps tempo with the words of your vocals. I guess your fans will love this offering. Your style of music reminds me of my favourite band in the early 1980's "McGuffey Lane." Truly a concert not to be missed. This is one of those foot tappin' songs that flows nicely to the listener. I enjoyed the use of all the traditional instruments in this one (big fiddle fan). Production is done very well with the track out front enough to support the vocals nicely. As far as any suggestions, possibly break up the flow of all the verses with either a step up or some other way to change the continuous melody in the same fashion. You were losing me a little towards the last part of the verses. It just needs something to change the flow a bit. Really like it though. Keep them coming!

Thanks for sharing Zap. You know I love your music and this one is no different. However, this one is a lot more country than what you normally do. That fiddle is way out front and Im lovin it. That guy is good. Great mix as usual. Your vocal very unexpectantly took on a Kid Rock flavor at the end and it sounded really good. It sounds like youre singing your own harmonies, they sound good BUT a female singer would add so much to your sound. Keep up the GREAT work.

Very catchy. Probably going to be singing it all day now. Probably not a chart topper, but the band and the vocals have the talent to make one. The lyrics are a bit elementary, but sometimes that's a good thing. I could see this song being the local pub favorite where even the bartenders sing along.

I enjoyed this fire in the hole is awesome, very catchy song. I am inlove with country music and accent. I wanted to take out my cowboy shoes and dance. Great sing along great sing along. The lyrics can be heard and understood. I love it
