In an evening of Original Dark Blue Americana
On Friday, February 20, 2015, guitarist, songwriter and vocalist Sid Whelan, who debuted at Nightingale’s to a full house promoting his first album “Flood Waters Rising,” in April of 2014 will perform at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme, Sheffield Auditorium from 7-9:30pm. Whelan will promote the release of his second album “The Story of Ike Dupree,” a collection of 13 original songs inspired by the Blues and related musical styles. He will be joined by NYC-based harmonica virtuoso Randy Weinstein, who is featured on the new album.
